About RTV
Creator-supplied stories. Independent discovery.
Why the name RTV?
RTV stands for Real-Time Video. The name expresses our focus on discovering emerging films, short dramas and new voices in AI video. Film Discovery, RTV International Film Festival, Watch and Originals bring that idea to life.
Real-Time is our brand direction, not a promise of live broadcasting or second-by-second updates. YouTube discovery currently refreshes every six hours. Festival profiles and jury results appear after manual review.
Direct from creators
RTV is a discovery platform for AI films, short dramas and related work. Our main catalog contains creator-submitted text, posters and promotional images published after manual review. Creators keep their videos on the original platform and grant RTV permission to display their submitted materials.
RTV International Film Festival
Our inaugural online edition has closed submissions and is now reviewing entries, with a focus on short films and student filmmaking, open to traditional and AI-assisted work. Proposed awards include Best Short Film, Best Student Film and Best AI Film. The legacy creator directory and Monthly Awards are temporarily paused and remain separate from Festival participation. Visit the festival page for the developing programme and permission framework.
Submission and review
Submissions include a synopsis, creator information, AI production notes, images, viewing links, and an explicit display authorization. Review is not a certification of copyright ownership or quality. Contact RTV to report inaccurate information or rights concerns.
Submit a film or read the Festival rules.
Separate YouTube discovery
The separate YouTube discovery page uses YouTube API Services to show public metadata. Automated discovery does not mean the uploader submitted materials or granted RTV a direct display license. There are no paid placements on that collection. Its data is not used to calculate RTV scores.
Founded in Canada
RTV International Film Festival is organized by CFCA. Its inaugural online edition welcomes filmmakers worldwide, with free direct entry and independent review. Future physical editions may take place in different cities; no 2027 venue is confirmed.
