A journey to the Ahr Valley (Germany), devastated in 2021 by a flood similar to the one suffered in Valencia (Spain) in 2024, to draw lessons from that tragedy: four years later the recovery process is still underway, progressing slowly and focusing on building anew rather than rebuilding.
