À propos du film
Lola is sixteen and convinced that an audition in Seville could change her life. Although her mother refuses to give her permission and her father does not take her ambitions seriously either, Lola drags her friend Carmen into a desperate attempt to escape from school and attend the audition. When they fail to climb over the fence in time, Lola decides to record her own audition video right there. In front of the camera, her confidence begins to crack, and beneath the pose of a future star, an unexpected confession emerges: more than acting, Lola wants to be seen. After they are caught by the head teacher and forced to return to class, the two friends grow apart. While Carmen seems to accept the consequences of what has happened, Lola clings even more tightly to the image she has created of herself. Humiliated in front of her classmates and unable to hold her smile in the mirror, she must face, for the first time, what she has been trying to hide. But Lola is not yet ready to let go of the persona she has created. Holding her phone up, she walks into the classroom filming herself under everyone’s silent gaze, searching for the perfect angle as her mask threatens to fall apart.
