In a quiet bourgeois suburb, a young filmmaker wanders with his camera, searching for a presence he cannot name. Gradually, reality begins to shift: a figure appears on his camcorder screen, invisible to his eyes. Between dream, memory and perception, this presence leads him toward a meeting suspended outside of time.
Réalisation
Antoine Sextier is a French filmmaker and sound engineer with more than twenty years of experience in the audiovisual field. His work moves between fiction and documentary, exploring places, memories and the traces left by people and their presence. He is particularly interested in the relationship between sound, music and image. His documentary L’Escale (2022), about a historic Latin American cabaret in Paris, won the Audience Award at the Native American and Latino Film Festival at the University of Connecticut and the Best International Medium-Length Documentary Award at the Maracaibo Film Festival in Venezuela. He has also directed the short films Photos (2024) and Out of a Dream (2026).
