Sota Kamiya is an ordinary high school student from modern-day Japan. One day, he is suddenly transported to the Sengoku period, an era of samurai, warlords, swords, and matchlock guns. With no combat skills of his own, Sota must rely on his greatest weapon: his knowledge of the modern world. Using strategy and ingenuity, he becomes a military strategist and leads samurai armies in the struggle to unify Japan. Along the way, he meets a young woman who shares his dream of changing the future. Together, they fight through a world torn apart by war and build an unbreakable bond. But fate takes an unexpected turn. Years later, the two find themselves leading opposing armies. Once allies, they are now enemies, forced to face each other on the battlefield. As swords clash and matchlock guns roar, their final battle will determine not only their own fate, but the future they have chosen.
