Upon finding a flower inside an abyss, Dienatryx surrenders to a ritual in which body and gesture lead her to rupture, but also to liberation.

Dienatryx finds a flower inside an abyss and, from this encounter, begins a journey of transformation. Through dance, she undergoes a ritual of self-confrontation that intensifies when she comes face to face with her own reflection in a mirror. Confronted with this image, Dienatryx breaks away from the form she once recognized as her own by tearing off her nose. From that moment on, the dance shifts, opening space for a new relationship between Dienatryx and the flower.
Réalisation
Andreia Machado graduated in Audiovisual Production from UNISINOS. In 2025, she worked as an assistant editor on Malick, directed by Cássio Tolpolar and Modou Awa Dieye, which was selected for the Rio de Janeiro International Film Festival 2026. In 2026, she worked on sound and editing for Morro da Cruz: Memória Popular, directed by Crystom Afronário, selected for the Gramado Film Festival. Her experimental short film Abismo das Flores was screened at Cine Esquema Novo 2026. She is currently working as an assistant editor on Dyaspora, directed by Henrique Lahude and Alix Georges.
