About the film
Wonderwall is a short film / narrative cinematic music video about unconditional love that helps overcome the grief of loss. Oleg, a young man lost in the crowd of a Kyiv rave, meets a mysterious girl, Sasha, and follows her through the post-apocalyptic world of the Chernobyl exclusion zone – Pripyat, the reactor, the "Duga" radar – until, under the stars, love gives him the strength to let go and return to life. It is the last film to capture Chornobyl's Reactor 4 in the open, before the New Safe Confinement arch covered it. Made with Chernobyl Children International. Music by Oleg Sobchuk, performed by SKAI.
