Synopsis

A boy walks through his school without looking up from his phone, while others do the same. When the screen goes dark, the world regains color, play, and life. A reflection on childhood and the use of social media.

About the film

Lorenzo walks through his school absorbed in his phone, like many of the children around him. In a black-and-white world, imaginary screens replace books, games, and human connection, while real statistics warn about early social media use and its consequences. When his phone suddenly goes dark and time seems to rewind, a second chance emerges. As he finally looks up, color returns and the school regains its essence: shared reading, music, play, nature, and real bonds. "Through their eyes" is a call to protect childhood and a reminder that the world, seen through a child’s eyes, needs no filters.
