About the film
A foreign journalist arrives in Jerez with the mission of writing an article about the local wine culture. What begins as a professional visit turns into an unforgettable odyssey when local characters lead him through authentic —and hilariously chaotic— experiences. Between failed venencias, great food, tastings, flamenco, horses, and countless laughs, our protagonist discovers that the true spirit of Jerez lies not only in its wine, but in its people and their way of life. The journalist’s passion goes beyond the local culture when he falls in love with a local oenologist. Will he be able to resist the spell of Jerez?
