On the night between 1 and 2 November, when according to an ancient legend the spirits of the deceased return to walk among the living in a silent procession illuminated by dim candles, the story of Barbara, a widow for a year, mixes with folklore
About the film
It is the night between November 1st and 2nd. it is said that the spirits of the deceased have free circulation among the living, giving rise to a gloomy procession of the dead. Wrapped in black cloaks and hoods and illuminated by the faint light of a lit candle, the wandering spirits wander through the streets of the villages from midnight to dawn, with the aim of completing a journey of penance, returning to their homes. Precisely on that night this legend is intertwined with the story of Barbara, wife and mother, widowed for a year and of her son Ruggero has returned to town after a long absence to surprise his mother.
