A tiny figure encounters the moon, and chooses to stay. A very short stop-motion film about presence, encounter, and the quiet reasons that make us remain.
Director(s)
Rasha Jarkas is a Beirut-based creative director, designer, and visual artist with a background in branding and visual communication. Her personal work explores storytelling through unexpected ideas and visual experimentation. "The Moon Was Here, So I Stayed" is a deliberate return to the very basics: simple objects, handmade movement, and a very short story with a deeper meaning, a statement that even the simplest forms of handmade art still matter.
