In a world inspired by ancient Mesoamerican civilizations, Nácxitl, a young warrior belonging to the Jaguar Mark Tribe, finds himself facing a destiny he never imagined. After a hunt, he returns to his village, where an elderly priest leads him into a mysterious ritual. During the ceremony, Nácxitl experiences a supernatural vision connected to an ancient prophecy and a powerful entity known as Kukulkan. Unable to fully understand what he has witnessed, the young warrior decides to leave his home and embark on a dangerous journey in search of answers. His quest takes him through jungles, mountains, and territories controlled by enemy tribes. Among them is the feared Skull Tribe, a society of warriors devoted to warfare and the worship of Huitzilopochtli, whose fighters pose a threat far greater than any enemy Nácxitl has ever faced. As his journey unfolds, the young warrior discovers that his determination and fighting skills may not be enough to survive. Wounded, stripped of his certainties, and confronted by increasingly dangerous adversaries, he must continue his quest as ancient and unknown forces begin to manifest around him. Unbeknownst to him, Nácxitl carries an ancestral power within himself, its origins connected to the very mysteries he seeks to uncover. The Last Jaguar Warrior: The Quest for Kukulkan is a fantasy, action, and adventure short film inspired by the mythology and aesthetics of Mesoamerican cultures, combining archaeological influences with an original fantasy universe. Original language: Nahuatl. Subtitles: English
