Synopsis

What seems like a job interview reveals itself as a ruthless selection process to rent a tiny room. "The Interview" exposes, with irony, the normalization of precarious conditions in housing, and questions how far we're willing to go to accept them.

About the film

What at first seems like a job interview for a position in a multinational company turns out to be a demanding selection process to rent a small interior room in a ground-floor apartment. Through this interview, and in just one minute, we understand the great difficulties we face when trying to rent decent housing, as well as the abusive and precarious situations that are common in today’s real estate market. Through this game, “The Interview” ironically denounces the normalization of precarious conditions both in the housing market and in the labor market, especially in large cities. The story exposes how abusive situations are disguised and presented as great opportunities. To what extent are we willing to accept these conditions?
