Submitted to RTV International Film Festival 2026Synopsis
A golden statue of the Happy Prince and a migrating swallow form an unlikely bond above a city divided by beauty and suffering. As the Prince gives away his ruby, sapphires, and gold to those in need, the swallow sacrifices his journey south to become his messenger. Reimagined through AI-generated animation, Oscar Wilde’s timeless tale becomes a meditation on compassion, sacrifice, and what it means to remain human.
Director(s)
Sim Eunlog is an artist, writer, art critic, curator, and AI film director whose work explores the relationship between art, technology, literature, and human perception. Drawing on a long career in contemporary art and visual criticism, she approaches generative AI not simply as a production tool but as a new cinematic medium. Her AI films reinterpret literary and philosophical subjects through image, movement, sound, and narrative, examining how emerging technologies can reshape — rather than replace — human artistic judgment.
