At 40, a dancer and mother of two attends a casting hoping to remain in the place she loves most: the stage. But another rejection for “not fitting the profile” triggers a powerful emotional breakdown.
About the film
Sara is a 40-year-old professional dancer and mother of two children trying to keep her place in the world she loves most: the stage. While struggling to balance motherhood with the constant pressure of an industry obsessed with youth and appearance, she is once again confronted with the phrase she knows all too well: “you don’t fit the profile.” What begins as just another audition soon opens an emotional wound impossible to contain. TODAVÍA is an intimate and visceral social drama about ageism in the performing arts, the invisibility imposed on women as they grow older, and the emotional cost of trying to reconcile motherhood with an artistic career.
