About the film
Li Na, a young woman living alone in Madrid after migrating from China, is thrust into turmoil when she receives a call from her 6-year-old brother, Ming. He reveals that their father has been missing for days, leaving him all alone at home. Overwhelmed by the news, Li Na desperately wants to help her brother, but the vast distance between them means she can only offer support through phone calls. As she tries to protect Ming from a heartache she knows too well, the uncertainty of their father's return ignites a deep longing in her to understand him and close the seemingly unbridgeable gap between them.
