About the film
Guitarist Joaquín Almendros—better known as "Quini"—boasts a musical career spanning forty years. He is a founding member of the band "La Guardia" and co-writer of all their hit songs, such as "Mil Calles llevan hacia ti," "El mundo tras el cristal," "Cuando brille el sol," and "Buena suerte señorita"—the latter of which was covered by Flaco Jiménez, the American artist and a world-renowned figure in *norteño* music. Exceedingly outgoing and humble, he steps out of his comfort zone—where he usually avoids talking about music—to reveal his most intimate and human side in this conversational film.
