About the film
At the heart of a deeply personal nightmare, Perspectivas explores how fear and psychological distress can reshape the way we perceive reality, turning the familiarity of home into something unstable, threatening and strange. Through repetition, fragmented perspectives and an unsettling use of off-screen space, the film embraces a form of horror built on atmosphere and suggestion rather than the conventions of the genre. Beneath its surface, the film reflects on guilt, isolation and the difficulty of expressing inner suffering. More importantly, it asks how private pain inevitably reaches beyond the individual, leaving its mark on those closest to us. Rather than presenting horror as an external force, Perspectivas finds terror in the impossibility of escaping oneself — and in the silent ways our wounds can shape the lives of others.
