What if the world itself were a stage? Drawing upon iconic figures from traditional Chinese opera, Peking Opera Paradise places Judge Bao, Guan Yu, Madam White Snake, and Wu Dalang into contemporary society, creating a surreal and darkly humorous fable about power, desire, morality, and ambition. Observed through the eyes of a child, every character performs a role, yet no one truly knows whether they are heroes, villains, fools, dreamers, or simply lost souls. A film about performance—and a mirror held up to modern life.
