Miguel lives each day as if life were a bullring. Between the costumbrista calm and the silent epic of his gestures, the short film portrays a man who turns routine into ritual, blurring the boundaries between the everyday and the mythical.
About the film
Miguel wakes each morning with the solemnity of a man preparing for an appointment with destiny. His gestures are ritualistic, precise, imbued with an ancient dignity. He walks through the village streets with a steady stride, beneath the golden light of an ordinary day, while the gazes of his neighbors rest upon him with respect and quiet complicity. Through intimate, costumbrista scenes, the short film reveals a man who lives suspended between routine and myth, between the everyday and the transcendent. The tension builds as his world unfolds with poetic calm, leading us toward an ending that reinterprets what it means—silently—to live like a bullfighter.
