About the film
Vecinos is a band from Barcelona that plays a lot, but doesn’t make a living from music. After five years of performing in tiny dive bars and saving everything they could, they’re finally going to record their first album: Centro de Ayuda. They’ll record it at La Mina, a huge studio in Granada. Over the course of a week—amid doubts, insecurities, fears, and spaghetti bolognese—they’ll discover that the best thing about being in a band isn’t making music. The best thing is having people you can lean on when you don’t know how to move forward.
