While sorting through the belongings of her late husband, a writer, Carmen creates a story with artificial intelligence. Between words and memories, she tries to bring to light a children’s tale that conceals a painful truth.
About the film
While packing up the belongings of her husband, a writer who has just passed away, Carmen tries to finish one of the bedtime stories he had been writing for their daughter. To do that, she begins relying on an artificial intelligence that helps her continue the story. Surrounded by boxes, memories, and sentences she keeps rewriting, Carmen slowly builds a tale about fireflies meant for a little girl who still expects to hear her father every night. But finding the right ending proves harder than she imagined, as Carmen is also trying to figure out how to face a truth she still doesn’t know how to tell.
