On the last day of his old friend’s stay in Jakarta, Kong Arief sets out to reunite his old gang, revisit their shared memories, and recreate their old group photo with his analog camera. But as their health and memory decline, and his family forbids him from meeting his friends, the reunion proves harder than he imagined.

When I was little, I was very reluctant to have my picture taken because it would often leave me sick with a fever afterward. But as I grew older and found myself caught in difficult times, looking back at photographs from my childhood became a reminder and a source of motivation that I had made it this far, and that I had fought through so much. Through this film, I want to ask: what happens when a warm, meaningful moment is never captured? With how fast and effortless technology has made photography today, do we risk seeing these moments these photographs as nothing more than files, stripped of their meaning?
