Andra Mari Axpe is a three-generation ancestral homestead facing demolition to make way for luxury villas. With no heir to carry on his family's legacy, his owner spends his final days there, bidding a painful farewell to his roots.
About the film
Andra Mari Axpe is an old ancestral homestead that has guarded the memories of three generations. After years of resisting the pressure to sell, its owner, Manu Gorordo, is forced to give in: the family home will be demolished to make way for luxury villas. Without an heir to carry on the legacy of his father and grandfather, the protagonist spends his final days there, facing an inevitable farewell. A painful goodbye to his roots, and the final chapter of a story that no one else will ever tell.
