Rafael lives bitterly, hating everyone, especially the immigrants in the neighborhood, until he meets the son of the new neighbors.
About the film
Rafael lives locked away in his own world, his apartment in L'Hospitalet. When his wife died several years ago, he lost his will to live and his fighting spirit. Rafael arrived in L'Hospitalet in the 1950s during the first major wave of immigration. He was always a fighter for democracy, equality, solidarity, and justice in the 1970s and 80s. But now, lonely, bitter, and xenophobic, he rejects the world and, in his solitude, takes out his misery on everyone, especially immigrants. His increasingly severe Alzheimer's doesn't help either. Everything changes when he befriends the young son of the new immigrant neighbors. The old man will understand how badly they are suffering and will once again feel the desire to fight to help them. An adventure that will restore his will to live and his lost dignity.
