Película presentada al RTV International Film Festival 2026Sinopsis
Set in a futuristic world caught between human individuality and perfect order, THE HUMAN VARIABLE explores what remains of our humanity as machines and intelligent systems increasingly shape our reality. In a world designed for precision and control, every glance, gesture and unexpected deviation reveals something that cannot be programmed: the unpredictable, deeply personal nature of being human.
Acerca de la película
THE HUMAN VARIABLE was born from a question that interests me far more than the technology of artificial intelligence itself: how does AI change our understanding of individuality and what it means to be human? I wanted to create a world that feels controlled, precise and almost perfect. At first, its inhabitants appear to be part of a larger system. Yet every glance, every movement and every subtle deviation remains individual. This is what I call the "Human Layer of AI." Machines can help create structures, images and entire worlds, but unpredictability, personal identity and human contradictions cannot simply be reduced to a system. Generative AI became my creative medium for bringing this vision to life. The concept, visual language, characters, architecture, camera perspectives, shot selection and rhythm were developed through my own artistic direction.
