*Seed of a Star* is a poetic 3D animated short film inspired by a simple phrase spoken by director Yasuhiro Higuchi's daughter. Small creatures living in the forest gather around the flowers, playing music and quietly watching over their growth. Yasuhiro Higuchi is a Japanese animation director and 3D artist based in Fukuoka, Japan. Working under the artist name "morph," he creates poetic animated films that explore nature, imagination, and the delicate relationship between music and visual expression. He was selected for *100 Japanese Motion Graphic Creators* in both 2025 and 2026. His short film *Seed of a Star* received awards at the Asia Digital Art Award FUKUOKA 2025 and the Mitaka Indie Animation Festa 2026. The film has also been officially selected for international festivals, including SPARK ANIMATION 2026 (Canada), London International Animation Festival 2026 (UK), Turku Animated Film Festival 2026 (Finland), and Big Cartoon Festival 2026 (Russia).
