Red Pixels in the Blue Port
Dirección Ali Zare Ghanatnowi
FRANCE · 2026 · 15 min · DRAMA, HUMAN RIGHTS, MOCKUMENTARY
Película presentada al RTV International Film Festival 2026Sinopsis
In Tehran, a mother begins secretly sending videos to her son in exile in Marseille. Filmed under constraint and at risk, these fragments travel across distance, censorship, and fear, gradually forming an intimate archive of everyday life, memory, and resistance. As the images accumulate, they become more than simple messages. They preserve gestures, spaces, silences, and the fragile continuity of a bond threatened by separation. Between Tehran and Marseille, the film unfolds as a dialogue shaped by absence: between a mother and a son, between what can be shown and what must remain hidden, between personal memory and political erasure. Red Pixels in the Blue Port is a film about exile, transmission, and the power of images to bear witness. Through clandestinely recorded videos, it traces how cinema can protect what violence, distance, and censorship seek to erase.
