The earth gave birth to it in Suba, Bogotá, Colombia, South America. This is what they say about the HDLT, a being with the powerful ability to steal the saddest and happiest memories of the humans who suffer its attack. And Luz, a young resident of Suba, Bogotá, Colombia, South America, is one of its victims. With plenty of time on her hands, since she's unemployed, and with the desire to make sense of what happened to her, Luz sets out to collect archival material that can give her a better understanding of her past and that of others who, like her, were attacked by the HDLT. In her mission, Luz joins other human voices that approach memory as a way of narrating themselves and their life experience, no matter how beautiful, extravagant, or sad it may be.
